Q: Is there parking available? Do I need a ticket to access the meeting point?

There is a parking lot in front of the boarding area that can accommodate about 25-30 cars. There are usually no parking problems. Not all parking spaces are shaded. The area in front of the boarding area is publicly accessible, and no parking ticket is required to access the parking lot.

Q: Are dogs allowed?

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on any of the park's trails.

Q: Where is the boarding point? Do you arrive and return to the same place?

The canoes are loaded a few minutes' drive from Alberese: click here to open the location on Google Maps. The tour starts and ends at the same point.

Q: Is it possible to rent canoes?

No, ours are guided tours. You can request an exclusive tour, the cost varies depending on the season.

Q: Can reservations be made by phone on the same day?

No, we need at least 24 hours' notice to organize guides and crews. You can make your request using the forms above. If you want to try to make a same-day request, please contact us via WhatsApp message (tap here) . We may have some places left.

Q: Can you reach the boarding area from the Grosseto/Strada della Trappola side (north)?

Yes, you can drive along Pian di Barca road to the cycle/pedestrian bridge. You cannot cross the bridge by car. There is a parking area just in front of it. Click here to open on maps. The boarding point is about 300m from the bridge.

Q: What if the forecast predicts rain?

We are optimistic and will proceed to the boarding point regardless. If weather conditions are prohibitive, the trip will be canceled and, if possible, postponed to a later date.

Q: Can you see the animals?

As in any park in the world, animals are present, but they do not like to be seen or disturbed. It is possible to see them if you have a keen and trained eye and know where to look, without making any noise.
